Admissions
At Jesus Mission College (JMC), admission is open to students who are ready to pursue quality secondary education and technical skills training in a disciplined and supportive environment. The college welcomes applicants into both the Senior High School (SHS) and Technical/Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes, designed to prepare learners for higher education, entrepreneurship, and employment.
Senior High School (SHS) Admission Requirements
Applicants seeking admission into the SHS programme must meet the following requirements:
- Must have completed Junior High School (JHS)
- Must present valid West African Examinations Council Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results
- Must provide school placement details where applicable
- Submission of completed admission form
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Copy of birth certificate or national identification document
- Copy of previous school testimonial or report card
Students admitted into the SHS programme will be guided to choose from available academic programmes based on qualification and career interest.
Technical / Vocational (TVET) Admission Requirements
Applicants applying for the TVET programme must meet the following requirements:
- Must have completed Junior High School (JHS) or Senior High School depending on programme level
- Must present BECE certificate, SHS certificate, or equivalent qualification where applicable
- Completed admission form
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Copy of birth certificate or valid identification
- Previous school testimonial or certificate
The TVET programme is suitable for both young learners and adults who desire practical skills for employment, self-reliance, and entrepreneurship.
